Servo Motor

Servo motors are an integral part of the modern machine tool and industrial manufacturing technology with various positionings.
They require from time to time a comprehensive service to meet the tile product for important, short adjusting and positioning times and to ensure the absolute reliability and availability over time.
We have the means to bring these engines and repair. This is documented by test report, which is made possible by a modern test bench.
The servo drive has next to the favorable ratio of power to weight and dimensions and optimal tuning of torque to inertia moment. The servo drive is usually designed for short-term high overload capability, which allows, with appropriate control very short acceleration and deceleration times. These advantages make the dissemination of servo motors is rising strongly.
We are independent from brand all three basic types of servo motors repaired or checked.

     DC servo motor:

The closed type no ventilation, but a tax loss of heat via the housing is provided. The principle occurring at a direct current machine carbon brushes wear is not so blown out, but remains in the machine. The resulting electrically conductive carbon dust must be regularly removed by cleaning, otherwise arcing and Bürstenkranz- or winding losses are expected.

         tests:
No-load test with measurement of current, voltage and speed
             Rolling review
Vibration measurement to check the balancing quality
Incremental encoder and tacho test on the oscilloscope

     AC servo motor:

Tests and measurements as in the DC-servo motor to the stamped maximum speed, but no load test, additional Resolverprüfung mittles oscilloscope.

     AC-Synchro-servo:

Examination and measurements as in AC servo motor, additionally setting the position encoder on the oscilloscope and check the strength of the permanent magnet rotor by means of emf measurements.

In all servo motors in addition to the insulation resistance test and puncture test is also an impulse voltage test to determine the state of winding insulation.
Furthermore, a general resistive measurement of the temperature sensor and a review of all connections (terminal board or plug) is made.
