    hey Govindan Palanichamy,
    here alot of basic service that should be done from time to other.

    - CAUTION: BEFORE PERFORMING ANY TESTS ENSURE THAT UNIT HAS BEEN COMPLETELY DE-ENERGIZE

    - confirm of Volt tap ground switch up all the time.
    - Megger X and Y windings to tank should read 50 meg ohms or more. every while.
    - Megger P2 to tank should read 50 meg ohms or more.
    - Measure resistance from P2 connection to tank, should read less than 1000 ohms.
    - Measure capacitance between CAR connection and basebox. This gives C2 value.
    - Measure capacitance from top of capacitor to basebox. This gives C1 value.
    - Measure P1 - P2, should read less than 75 ohms
    - Check all connections Daily.
    - Check harmonic suppression filter wiring and components, replace as necessary.
    - Check for leaks around tank
    - Check expansion chamber on top of lower capacitor unit

    perform a regular
    visual inspection of the following:
    • Chipped porcelain
    • Abnormal pollution accumulation
    • Oil leaks
    • Check oil level of the basebox by means of the oil
    gauge.
